Why bedtime stories?
I love my wife because she’s creative and fun and all the things that I’m not.
When our children were little, she used to tell them amazing original bedtime stories every night, where the kids are the main character in their own little world. I would come home from working after a few days and the kids would beg me for the kind of stories their mother would tell.
While I loved the excitement it created to give our children these personalized adventures, so tailored to their own little lives, it always made me a little jealous. I just can’t manufacture magic the way she could.
But now I can. Technology has given me a way to create magic for them the way I never could before. Now when I put them to bed, if someone wants hear a story featuring themselves as a pirate who saves his school from evil bunnies, I can create that story. And now you can too.
